butter

natural peanut butter

cup (200g)
sugar
divided
½
cup (85g)
brown sugar
packed

egg

tsp
vanilla extract
dark chocolate wafers
to top each cookie
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a small bowl stir flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a large bowl beat the butter and peanut butter until smooth.
Beat in ½ cup of sugar and the brown sugar.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Reduce speed and gradually add flour.
Shape dough to 1 inch balls.
Roll each ball in the remaining sugar and place on an ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly coloured.
Remove and immediately press a chocolate wafer into the center of each cookie.
